Enable moving maps - Could not connect to Simulator!

Hi,

For the second day in a row, I’ve been trying to ‘enable’ the moving maps in Navigraph, but the system keeps telling me that it cannot connect to the simulator. I am using Prepar3D v5.2. This has happened before with both MSFS and X-Plane. The sim is open, I am on the runway, ready for take-off. . . what’s the issue?

Hi…,

  • Please see FAQ - Simlink Install and Systray

  • In Navigraph Simlink Plugin Settings, for your FS entry press Uninstall Simlink.

  • Please use specifically Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink:

  • If they exist delete directories
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.

  • Then download and install latest Simlink .

Also please post latest dlog from c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink\logs

Please let us know how you get on.

Cheers
Ian

Hello Ian,

I followed your guidance and it worked! I am not able to share a ‘dlog’ because the system won’t allow me to open it, or even copy its link. Thank you so much for your help!
