Default SimBrief AIRAC

Hello and sorry, I am new here I have tried to find a way to ask a simple question: did you stop to update the AIRAC cycle on the free simbrief site as I read you usually provide an update in march with the data from last year an on the page the AIRAC shows 2203 still and we are in May?

Again sorry for getting in here, i did not find any other waty to ask a question.

Cheers,

Hans

Nope, the free cycle is 2303 now. Where are you seeing 2203?

Regards,

Tim

Hello,

i made a screenshot, may be I do something wrong, as I said i am new:

Thanks for your swift reply

Regards,

Hans

Have you tried selecting 2303 from the popup? Previously unlocked cycles (when you had a subscription) remain available even after the default cycle is updated, so you may simply have continued access to 2203 because of it, but should still be able to use 2303 as well?

Regards,

Tim

Hello Tim,

Yes, I tried. However, in the popup there is the up to date 2024 AIRAC tht requires a subscription and the 2022 Airac but not the 2023, as you can see in the screenshot.

BTW, a friend of mine has exactly the same issue, he as well can access only the 2022 cycle.

Cheers,

Hans

P.S.: I never had a paid subscription up to date, as I am relatively new to this.

Looks like a bug? We’ll have to wait for the developer to chime in.

Regards,

Tim

Edit: actually it looks like I may have had an active subscription as of 2303, perhaps that’s why I have access to it, and the fact that it happens to be exactly one year newer that 2203 is a coincidence. My bad.

Changelog above shows the cycle was last updated to 2203 on March 31st, 2023

Hi Hans,

The default free AIRAC is currently 2203.

We shall investigate your query.
