Is it possible to integrate specific step climbs into our flight plans? If not - I would like to test this on flights, especially with high amount of head winds. Simbrief suggests step climbs, but optimum altitude is based on weight and not wind. I do not see an ability to make a custom step climb as it is now, and think this would be nice feature to have.
Hi, yes this is possible. Simply include the step climbs directly in the route string, for example:
JCOBY4 SWANN BROSS Q419 NACYN/N0421F350 Q419 DPK DPK3
The speed will be ignored when you do this, but the altitude will be detected and the stepclimb will be planned. It’s also possible to just enter the altitude alone (without the speed):
JCOBY4 SWANN BROSS Q419 NACYN/F350 Q419 DPK DPK3
Just make sure to also specify your initial altitude in the “Altitude” option (otherwise it can give unexpected results). Also note that if the step climb you insert into your route occurs after the TOD point, it will be ignored.

from this post
Custom Step Climb? - SimBrief / Dispatch - Navigraph
the problem is that this solution doesn’t work with geographical points like 420015N0123143E/F015 simbrief simply ignore it, we need it cause it is impossible to use reporting point, which are not in simbrief database, and geographical points like lakes, monuments etc. etc. or important points for VFR flights
is there some solution for this kind of waypoints?
thanks
Hi, thanks for the report. Custom step climbs should be fixed for geographical DMS waypoints now.
Best regards,
now works great, very fast support you are TOP
