Which simulator are you referring to? Cerenado has been around for a while, and have made addons for pretty much all major simulators.
In MSFS, the addons usually use the avionics that come with the simulator. In this case, updating the simulator navigation data using the Navigraph Hub should get your avionics up-to-date!
If you are using the Reality XP GNS 530 with the addon, then we cannot provide any updates for it, see this post for more details:
