I fly C172. I’m trying to use SimBrief for flight planning. But too few things are customizable. E.g. it shows climb TAS as 119 knots, which is even higher than enroute TAS of 110 knots. This is absurd. I would like to be able to enter my own climb speed for departure and for enroute.
Why is this impossible? I appreciate the weather briefing, the notams, etc, but at the same time some of the most basic flight planning options are useless. In addition to the climb TAS, there are other lacking things: possibility to enter actual climb and descent rate, possibility to enter actual weight (instead of how it tries to calculate it now), possibility to enter actual fuel consumption (instead how it now tries to calculate it based of who knows what). In general, it tries to do too many things automatically, instead of letting the user simply enter the values.
Please do something about this. I like Navigraph charts, I like integration of SimBrief with it, and I like many options of SimBrief and I like what it can be. But it’s lacking a lot of basic things. And it would be simple to add them since they are just simple user inputs, instead of the current weird automatic calculations.
