Boeing C-17 Globemaster III Simbrief Profile | Available

Dear Community,

As there was no Simbrief profile for the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III yet, I decided to make one myself, matching the real world values. The profile is based on the Boeing 747-8F, as it has almost the same cruising speed and fuel burn, as the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, but I of course adapted it, to match the real plane.

I increased the Fuel Factor up to P30 (30 % more than the Boeing 747-8F).

Changelog:

  1. I changed the name from Boeing 747-8F to C-17 Globemaster III
  2. I adapted the weights to match real world performance values and adjusted the fuel burn
  3. I added the engine type PW2040
  4. I changed the cruising altitude to FL450, which is the maximum ceiling of the C-17 Globemaster III
  5. I changed the Minimum Runway length to 3500 ft

Hi, actually I am currently working with another user to add a formal C17 aircraft profile. Their first version has just been added to SimBrief, you may want to re-check your custom airframe based on that new base type.
