Beta Installer Question

Maybe you provide me some guidance. I have the Beta installed (for FS 2020) but it says the navigraph data is not installed. When I click install I get an error box saying the install failed with the message Cannot Read Property “Files” of undefined. I’m not sure how to get the latest data downloaded since I have no addons (none that I can map to) and can’t get the data manager to update. The file doesn’t show up in Content Manager so I know I haven’t done this right.

Can you provide step by step instructions on how to update FS 2020 with the latest data set if you have no addons.

Hi Blake,

Welcome to the new forum.

I suspect you are running an older Beta installer

Please use Windows 10 to uninstall Navigraph 1.0.xxxx Beta yyy , then re-install from Navigraph Navdata Update Beta

Please let us know how you get on.

Might be worth putting those in an update instructions thread in the FAQ or wherever, I tried to install over the top of .14 thinking it would update but it looks like it doesn’t do anything. Only thing that clued me in was the fact your screenshot in the FAQ is on beta 15.

So can you clarify, that the Beta installer needs to be removed, redownloaded and reinstalled in order to get the latest AIRAC cycle every month? Guess what I’m asking is are updates pushed to the installer itself, or is the installer updated regularly?

Strictly no, but I recommend you do to eliminate variables. We shall shortly release an installer which improves this.
