Aivlasoft EFBv2 and 2307

Hi Richard,

There are number of users including myself posting airway issues with the 2307 cycle in EFBv2.

Aivlasoft forum post.

With route KSLC EKR DCT LAA DCT IRW J20 EIC DCT SWB DCT HRV Q105 REDFN Y280 CHRGE KMCO airway Y280 does not get identified and does not follow the expected waypoints.

Route EIDW DCT PELIG DCT KURUM DCT BIBLA DCT GUNSO DCT OMOKO T16 NAVIX DCT ORTIS DCT GCTS loads incorrect waypoints on T16 with back and forth legs from North and South hemisphere.

Restoring cycle 2306 results in no issues at all, no recent change to the EFB program either.

tested 2307 with both Data Managaer and Manual installs.

Regards
Stephen.

Hi,
Same issue with European flight plans. After generating a flight plan from Simbrief ( EGLL to EDGH), Aivlasoft validation summary prompts the following error message "Could not find airway “Ul607” which contains entry point "KONAN and exit point “MATUG”.
Airac is updated to 2307

Hi guys
the problem with the EFB2 is the format. We don’t know the structure because the devs offers us only a compiler …

This compiler expect only our source file and generate the EFB2 files but we have no clue about the format and we can’t look into it.

Sorry guys
Richard

This is the sequence for Y280 what we have in the source and it looks correct so far.

Cheers
Richard

Hi again Stephen,
I have checked the source file too now and it’s correct so far. I will re-build the EFBv2 dataset tomorrow and will try to reproduce it …

Keep you inform here … thanks for your patience.

Thanks
Richard

Hi Stephen, hi guys,
I was in contact with Urs to this topic … I have found the issue and I guess, I have fixed it now with revision 3.

KSLC EKR DCT LAA DCT IRW J20 EIC DCT SWB DCT HRV Q105 REDFN Y280 CHRGE KMCO

EIDW DCT PELIG DCT KURUM DCT BIBLA DCT GUNSO DCT OMOKO T16 NAVIX DCT ORTIS DCT GCTS

I have sent Urs the revision to check - as soon as we have the “go”, we will update it.
Sorry,
Richard

Hello Richard,

Thanks for the fix, can confirm rev3 has resolved the issues here.

Regards
Stephen
