I am an X-Plane 12 user who is attempting to load my SimBrief flight plans into the aircrafts’ FMS for airliner flights. However, I am unabme to update my AIRAC cycles, which causes the error “AIRAC CYCLE MISMATCH” in the FMC, and my flight plans unable to load into X-Plane.
I tried using FMS Data Manager to update the AIRAC cycles in X-Plane, but I was unable to, as X-Plane (or any mods I use) remain undetected by the system.
I have attempted many fixes as suggested by the forum, all to no avail. The methods include:
Uninstalling and reinstalling FMS Data Manager, together with logging out and into Navigraph.
Restarting my PC.
Downloading the manual navigation updates for both X-Plane 12 and FlightFactor B777 (the aircraft I am using), and extracting them to the “Custom Data” folder.
Checking that all my mods and X-Plane, and the FMS Data Manager, are updated to their latest versions.
Closing X-Plane 12 while carrying out the process.
Double-checking the path of X-Plane in my computer, as shown in the screenshot below.
Hi Ian, thank you for the suggested solution. I have attempted the fix but got stuck at the “Addon Mappings” step; they simply do not allow me to add an addon manually unless it has been detected by the system, which strangely shows none.
I have confirmed that xplane has always been under the specified folder and saved it.
Hi,
You can also try uninstalling the FMS Data Manager. After that, reboot your PC. Then open the file explorer and copy&paste this %programdata%\Navigraph\FMSClient
Delete all files and subfolders, if they exist.
After that, reinstall the latest version of the FMS Data Manager and try it again. Furthermore, could you please upload the x-plane_install_12.txt file? You find it here %localappdata% (again, copy&paste it in the file explorer).
Thank you for the guidance. I will try that now. Just for clarification, what do you mean by “uploading” the “x-plane_install_12.txt” file? On this forum?
