Wrong chart

Hello,

What is the proper way to report a wrong chart? It is the chart for a new ILS approach to lybe on 12R.

Best regards.

You can report it here, preferably with screenshots illustrating what is wrong.

Regards,

Stephen

Ok thanks, here it is… For ILS 12R approach the chart is from 30R (Crs is 297) and the date is old 28 OCT 22. RNAV/RNP for 12R is correct…

Hi,

Not able to reproduce, but there was a data update with cycle 2302 today. Could you check it again please?

Regards,

Stephen

Hi,

Thanks for prompt reply. The problem is with ILS approach to LYBE on 12R. (30R is correct). But you gave me an idea. I checked on the web, and there was a correct chart. I updated charts for MSFS with Navigraph utility, is there something else that I have to do for the app update?

Best regards.

Hi,

Ah, yes I see now.

This issue only seems to relate to the CAO (Airline) charts. If you switch to STD (Standard) in Settings, you will see the correct chart for 12R.

We’re investigating.

Regards,

Stephen

Super. Yes, you are correct I can see good charts in std mode. Thanks for the info.

While we are here, I tried to find more info about what is different in STD and CAO maps but could not understand how that applies here. For example, in CAO map 11-2A is completely missing (for CATII/III ILS) This is not the case for Gatwick so I can only presume that this is local problem. I can only guess what else is missing :frowning:

I am a little bit disappointed with all this. Subscription to your service was supposed to help us find relevant information quickly, and now I will always doubt the information, double check it with local sites. :frowning: Not to mention how much time I lost trying to understand what was going on…

Hi!

I would like to write in this thread because I’m having the same problem with LEMD charts.

In any platform, I’ve tried on cloud, Windows, iOS…

Opening any STAR from LEMD, the chart that opens doesn’t match with the correct one.

On 23rd february there was a massive change in procedures. Is it taking time to show the correct AIRAC or something like that?

Hi,

The issue has been traced down to incorrect cache management in the desktop app. The correct data is on our servers, and if you load the charts in the web version charts.navigraph.com you will also see the correct charts.

We are working on a fix for the desktop app, but one workaround is to uninstall the app which will clear its cache. The install the desktop app again from Navigraph

This is of course not how it should be. It is a bug in one of the client apps and it will be fixed.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for the quick answer.
Didn’t see this topic, sorry: Some of the navigation charts of madrid are not updated

I’ve tried today on the cloud app and now I can see the correct charts.
So I will uninstall the desktop client and install it again in order to clear its cache.
Obviosuly, this is a bug and shouldn’t be like that, as “srdjansimic” says.

We appreciate that you guys are working in this bug. Thanks!

Regards,
Adrián

EDIT: The iOS app still shows old data in some charts (not all)

Yes the update will apply also to the iOS and Android apps. Same there, uninstall iOS app to clear cache and install again. On Android one can go to Settings > Apps > Charts > Storage and “clear cache”.

Regards,

Stephen

Done and working, thanks!

There should be some kind of cache invalidation after every airac update in order to solve this
