Sectorization of air traffic the Bangkok TMA is divided geographically into east, south west and north sectors the details as follow:
- The area of responsibility of east sector is defined by straight line joining successively the following point VTBS ARP (134109N1004456E) and SVB VOR R020/58D thence clockwise by the arc of a circle of 50 NM radius centred on VTBD ARP (135452N1003620E) to SVB VOR R163/33D thence straight line to VTBS ARP, which encompasses ATS route A1, A202, G474, N891, R468 and W1.
- The area of responsibility of the south sector is defined by straight line joining successively the following point VTBS ARP (134109N1004456E) and SVB VOR R163/33D thence clockwise by the arc of a circle of 50 NM radius centred on VTBD ARP (135452N1003620E) to SVB VOR R236/45D thence straight line toVTBS ARP excluding VTD19, which encompasses ATS route A464, G458,M751, R201, W19 and W31.
- The area of responsibility of the west sector is defined by straight line joining successively the following point VTBS ARP (134109N1004456E) and SVB VOR R236/45D thence clockwise by the arc of a circle of 50 NM radius centred on VTBDARP (135452N1003620E) to SVB VOR R329/67D thence straight line to VTBS ARP excluding VTD16, VTD17, VTD18, VTD47, VTD72, which encompasses ATS route A1, G463, L507, P646 and R468.
- The area of responsibility of the north sector is defined by straight line joining successively the following point VTBS ARP (134109N1004456E) and SVB VOR R329/67D thence clockwise by the arc of a circle of 50 NM radius centred on VTBDARP (135452N1003620E) to SVB VOR R020/58D thence straight line to VTBS ARP excluding VTD18, VTD31, VTD72, which encompasses ATS route A464, B346, R474, W9 and W21.
But in the Charts 8 it also includes BANGKOK TMA NORTH when selecting BANGKOK TMA WEST.
Also when selecting BANGKOK TMA NORTH, it doesn’t exclude other airspaces as specified by AIP. I’m not sure what’s the expected behavior of rendering the exclusion airspace however the inconsistency is confusing.
