That is probably correct. I can see that the account that you are currently using in this forum has never signed into the PMDG 747 EFB - so therein probably lies the issue! Not sure what error the EFB would show you if you signed in with an account that does not have a subscription, but that could very well be what is happening here I presume.
Is there no way to sign out of the EFB from inside the EFB? @srcooke ?
I see… Then a reinstall might be the only option To be clear, this is not a question for Navigraph Support - but that is likely what I’d do if there is no reset button in the EFB!
It maybe that the charts file located in \AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG EFB contains the key. Backing up and deleting the file could be worth a try IF necessary.
That is not something that I can confidently answer, but I’m sure it could have something to do with filesystem permissions! It could be anything really, but since I don’t have the addon or its source code, I have no way of investigating this I’m afraid!
I will try to repair or reinstall the PMDG 748 extension first, because the charts folder in \AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG EFB is empty.
I think this could be the problem!?
I’ll let you know when I know something new.
Unfortunately, nothing changed after a complete reinstallation and product registration of the PMDG 747 Package.
The charts folder in \AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG EFB is empty, no charts file, and there is no entry on the device page. The EFB does not connect to the server.
I haven’t had a response from PMDG yet.
Do you already have feedback?
Yes it’s the same “Fault” message like in the photo above. And I can not sign in because I can not sign out.
There is no device listed on Navigraphs device page. What “scrooke” wrote about the charts file in \AppData\Roaming\PMDG\PMDG EFB folder is interesting. My folder is empty. What kind of file does that have to be?
There is an other PMDG/EFB folder in the Simulators main root folder with four files.
I think the problem is that the EFB doesn’t know that it should connect to the Navigraph server!?
Could it be?
Now I have a message from PMDG. They tried it with the same B747-8 on the same Simulator and it works.
Is it me, bad karma? Or the bad weather in Germany? I’m at my wit’s end. ::
I’ve done so but now Prepar3d crash to desktop.
PMDG advices to install the model with dissabled Antivirus.
My Antivirus Program is Avira. Could it be a simconnect problem?
