Why was the color blue chosen to depict rain? Just curious. Makes it very difficult to see what is being depicted, as the blue used for rain and snow is almost the same shade.
I personally would really enjoy seeing the rain depiction go to green like is typical.

We do not pick these colors ourselves. They are rendered as part of a bunch of presets our weather radar provider (rainviewer.com) provides. You can find all the available presets in the map on their website, or see the actual color codes and their corresponding reflectivity values here.
If you would like Navigraph Charts to include the possibility of changing the color preset of the weather radar, please create a new topic in the Wishlist !
