The way I understand network airplanes icons scale is tight to map scale. Can these two be separated? I use map scale 150 to see airport markings better, but this scale in turn makes aircraft labels too big. If I zoom out a bit the airplane like A380 covers half of the airport.

You’re correct that aircraft icons are currently scaled tightly to the map scale on both desktop and mobile devices. I understand the problem this creates, icons can become too large and cover other elements. This should not be the case and will be fixed.
I have opened task that will disconnect the aircraft icons from the map scale, so that aircraft icons will not scale with the scale setting. This will likely be fixed in a upcoming release.
