I have noticed a strange behavior of my MSFS2020 as soon as Simbrief Dispatch is installed: If I set a time for my flight that differs from the current time, the flight is NOT started with the newly set time, but with the current time. As soon as I uninstall Simbrief Dispatch, the MSFS2020 behaves as expected again. In other words: If I set a different time for the flight, the flight is also started with this time. The behavior can be reproduced with different aircraft and airports.
Is this using the latest version? (1.1.1)
Yes, latest Version 1.1.1
Same here, latest version.
Still have this issue. Is it on the agenda to be resolved?
Is this anywhere on the team’s radar to fix?
Hi…,
We shall investigate, when staff knowledgeable in this issue, return from leave.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Cheers
Ian
@CFG278 as the OP of this post, would you mind clarifying this a bit?
Are you:
-
Setting the time of your flight inside SimBrief dispatch and expecting this time to propagate to the simulator (overriding “real time” set by the simulator by default)
-
Setting a custom time before starting your flight (through simulator menus, not SimBrief dispatch) and seeing this being overriden when starting the flight
We tried the following:
- Install SimBrief Dispatch
- Open simulator & the World Map
- Change the time to something that is NOT the current real world time
- Start the flight
Following these steps, upon loading into the flight, the time that we picked in the world map was correctly reflected.
Is this not what you are seeing?
To be clear: SimBrief Dispatch is not expected to change or set your time in any way. Not even when using it to import a flight.
Kind Regards,
Malte
