Miami Center on VATSIM will soon be able to control “KZMA Miami Oceanic” simultaneously with “KZMA Miami”. Right now, when someone signs on with the callsign MIA_##_CTR, “KZMA Miami” is highlighted on the map. When someone signs on with the callsign ZMO_##_CTR, “KZMA Miami Oceanic” is highlighted.
On VATSIM Radar, when someone signs on as MIA_##_CTR and includes Ocean Area in their controller information (sometimes called controller ATIS), “KZMA Miami Oceanic” is also highlighted. The developer essentially makes a fake ZMO_##_CTR position appear online.
It would be greatly appreciated if this is something that Navigraph Charts could also support. Thank you!
