Confirmed. Seeing the same picture (aircrafts displayed & missing) here in the desktop app like fellow @me08128. So it looks like this problem at least seems to have deterministic effects for those who hit it.
Another data point: iOS app on several devices (e.g. iPad mini 4, iPhone 12 mini) seems to not miss traffic and classify correctly. Not affected by that big traffic loss.
Interestingly, just came back to the computer from a longer break, screen was locked and turned off. When I unlocked the screen, the desktop app showed ~all traffic again, but I could watch planes after planes disappearing every few seconds. Atlantic now pretty idle after a few minutes again.
Just out of curiosity on how you receive the VATSIM/IVAO Data. Do you load the JSON every 15 seconds from Vatsim/IVAO or do you have an FSD-Feed?
Confirmed with another computer (laptop) behind the same Internet connection as all the other devices. Upon startup of the desktop app and enabling the VATSIM traffic display, pictures seems to be complete, with aircrafts quickly dropping off the map left and right.
I could try with a mobile data Internet connection, but this is essentially using the same ISP (Deutsche Telekom AS3320) - but I don’t think the Internet connection is the root cause here as all browser variants I tried as well as the iOS apps seem to work fine in this regard. Over time, it’s loosing the same traffic on the desktop PC app as well as the laptop PC app, so seems to be roughly deterministic. Desktop browsers and mobile app not affected.
Interesting findings! If you have any further insights during the weekend, feel free to post them too - they’re always appreciated! We shall investigate further next week.
Also - would you say that this has gotten worse with the latest update to this beta? Was 8.37.0
better in this regard?
With DTAG you never know!
IF I knew the FQDN of the server Navigraph uses, I can run this thru my VPN Tunnel to the US and see if that changes anything.
Just observing an instance of a ghost:
CYYZ, on Terminal 3 a B77W that landed a while ago - it’s not online anymore since long, confirmed by NC in browser and VATSIM Radar. Interestingly, shown as narrowbody instead of widebody.
Update while typing this posting: eventually removed from the desktop app as well… but took a long time. >10 minutes at least.
no view traffic on ivao
Hi same problem here , no large aircraft showing in desktop app! but fine in browser version! have tried on my laptop with same results! perhapswill be rectified when out of beta
so dissappointed with new traffic in navigraph. I simply have no traffic showing in vatsim or ivao . originally had a percentage of traffic showing but now nothing at all. love navigraph but will give a little longer for beta to work, or will stop subscription! shame. i have not recieved anyreplies from navigraph so far!
Hi…,
Please note, this is a Beta release, and not a full customer release yet.
Cheers
Ian
Hi Ian
Many thanks for your reply. It is the charts desktop that the traffic is missing, the online via my phone appears to be ok!
Definitely running 8.38.1 version, and I do understand this is in beta so will wait for final version to arrive.
Love the product!

John
Hi John,
To be clear, when you connect your PC to the Internet via mobile hotspot, do you get traffic display on your Charts Desktop?
Cheers
Ian
Hi Ian
The charts desktop does not show any 4 engine aircraft, or some large aircraft even via the mobile hotspot! (same as on my wifi network)
My mobile phone app shows all the aircraft! Exactly as the vatsim radar.
I have re-installed Navigraph charts, and tried my bt wifi and plusnet wifi, but seem get same result!
Perhaps it will be ok when out of beta.
Regards
john
I can confirm this issue; I’ve observed it several times. It seems to primarily affect long-haul flights, and in this context, probably heavy aircraft.
Are you also using the desktop version?
We have a fix coming in the next update of the app which will likely solve this. Our understanding at the moment is that this issue only affects the desktop application.
Yes, desktop, MAC OS 14.6.1
