Slow Loading Flight Plan and Route updating

I am finding the Navigraph charts app to be running and updating extremely slowly this morning.
[10:39]
Having to restart and reimport the flight plan several times to get it to display.

I am flying 2024 with the PMDG 777 200. The app is running across the network on two PCs running Windows 10. Flight sim on Windows 11.

Hello!

We are not seeing any sort of slowdowns from our perspective - our servers are responding just as quickly as they usually do. We also can’t see any performance degradation when testing our apps.

We did have a cycle release this morning, so we take this report seriously. Are you still having a slow experience?

Kind Regards,
Malte

Same here - flightplan only loads if i select “options” then go back to “general” in the charts app, which doesn’t seem a ‘your end’ kinda issue.

Hi there,

I am not home right now. Will test in a couple of hours when back.

Another user in discord, Olaf, was also experiencing the same issue. It’s in general chat.

Kind regards,

Brian

Sounds good!

Olaf also mentioned that it was running normally after a restart. All our metrics show that our systems are operating normally.

During cycle releases, our APIs remove their previously populated caches to ensure that fresh navigation data can be delivered in their place. This would cause a short period of longer-than-usual requests, but this is barely visible in our statistics when it comes to delays.

Please do let us know when you have had a chance to try it!

It’s back to normal for me now.

Thank you,

Brian

Hi, right now I’m facing the same issue on my side, on all type of OS (Ipad, Windows, MAC Os) and on 3 different Internet providers.
I’m in Italy.

PS: restarted PC and MAC but no change.

@cjreed and @dobova we are not able to reproduce.

We have enabled extra logging on your accounts. Please provide more information!

@dobova Does your issue also have to be fixed by switching tabs?

Could any of you provide a video/screen recording?

Switching to “options” then back a couple of time, it works.

I loaded from my simbrief fplan LGAV-LGMK … the image shows what’s happening. Never had problems before.

I am having the same issue now and so is my friend looks the same as the picture importing from simbrief

It seems that after clearing all flight in the MACOS version, now the Mac seems to work correctly. But Windows 11 version NOT working. It works fine if I start Web version in Chrome. If I open in Edge doesn’t work. Is there a cache or something that need to be cleared ?

Thank you for the update!

I now also have your logs, and a quick look tells me that this is not a network issue but rather one of our APIs occasionally acting up - which would explain why we are not able to reproduce it thus far.

Apologies for the inconvenience. We’re looking into it right now!

Update: This seems related to the cycle switch. We have rolled back this specific API (responsible for routing and route validation) to cycle 2504, and we have positive indications so far.

We’ll dig deeper to find the real source of the issue and keep you guys posted!

Great, it seems now fixed for me. I will check better, but it seems also way faster to load routes…
Thank you.

The bug seems coming back.

Yes, I can confirm this problems. During past days it was just sloow, now trying to change something in a flight plan gives the “Something went wrong!” message. Neither the windows program nor the web app seem to work.
Tnx.

Hello @jeanphidu24 @AZA091 - sorry for the trouble.

We are still unable to reproduce the issue, but a quick look at our servers tells us that the problem from last week is no longer occurring. Are you still having this issue? Of course, it could be something else.

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hi Malte,
It seems solved now. Last weekend Charts performed as expected.
Tnx a lot, all the best.
