SimBrief/SimLink ? Connection issues

Bonjour,

Hi…,

Welcome.

Please post in English.

Cheers

Ian

Salut, Désolé je ne parle pas anglais. Ce sera donc traduit avec Deepl :

Hello,

After moving to a new country (Mauritius) and completely rebuilding my PC, I reinstalled MSFS 2020 and 2024, reinstalled Navigraph and other applications and add-ons. Unfortunately, Navigraph Display won’t connect from FS2020, no matter what I do. I checked what you asked for in your post and everything is OK: the version number, the local Windows date. I uninstalled and reinstalled Navigraph several times, but nothing works; it won’t connect. However, I am properly authenticated on the Navigraph website, and when I try to connect with the QR code, I approve it, but nothing changes. The “SIGN IN” window is still present in the game. I don’t know what else to do, so if you have a solution other than the one in your post, I’m interested. Thank you for your response.

Have a nice day and a happy new year.

The three steps I followed. I am using Windows 11 Pro, version 25H2 :

Are you talking about Simlink not connecting, and therefore no Moving Map facility?

If so, I suggest you try a complete Simlink install :

  • See FAQ - Simlink Install and Systray

  • Please use specifically Windows Programs and Features to uninstall Simlink:

  • If they exist delete directories
    c:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Navigraph\Simlink and
    c:\Program Files\Navigraph\Simlink.

  • Then download and install latest Simlink .

  • Restart computer

If still a problem, please send us Simlink logs which are located in the %APPDATA%/Navigraph/Simlink/logs folder?

Cheers
Ian

Have a nice day.

Hello Ian,

Still no solution to my problem, or have you given up?

Hi,

Thank you for providing the log file. Based on the log details, there doesn’t appear to be any issue. However, to gain further clarity on the problem, please provide us with the following information:

  1. Which application is failing to log in: Simlink or SimBrief?
  2. Could you please send us screenshots of both the Simlink and SimBrief applications?
  3. Have you tried logging in with a different web browser, such as Google Chrome?

Please feel free to reach out if you continue to experience any issues.

Thank you!

Best Regards,

Hello, thank you for your reply and for taking over.

Since the last communication, I have uninstalled everything, reformatted the disk on which I am installing MS 2020, and reinstalled it. The problem persists.

SimBrief won’t connect, but when I do it through MS20 (however, it works with MS2024).

Here is the procedure I follow to connect

SmBrief et Simlink

I forgot to tell you that after the fourth photo, the window from the second photo remains on the screen. I haven’t tried logging in with Chrome, but I will.

I just tried with Chrome, same result, it won’t connect to the simulator.

Hello,
Still no solution?

Hi,

Thank you for the screenshots. From what I can see, it looks like you have logged in with SimBrief, so there doesn’t seem to be an issue on that end.

Now, regarding Simlink: please run the Simlink application and log in. Make sure that Simlink is running while you start the flight simulator.

Please let us know if you still encounter any issues.

Thank you!
Best Regards,
