Simbrief Downloader no directory

I just got a new PC and am installing all my old flightsim software. The simbrief downloader isn’t automatically finding MSFS and if I direct it to a folder the “choose what formats to download below” section is not populated.

Welcome.

In SimBrief Downloader, choose FS2020 format and use blue folder icon to navigate to your MSFS pln directory. Default is typically:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState

At the time that section of the downloader was not available because it could not detect the sim folder (even if I manually input it). I resolved it by restarting the computer and launching flight sim before opening the downloader.
