Simbrief Desktop Icon disappered

Hi.
I have just reinstalled my computer, and after that it is not possible to start Simbrief from a desktop icon/process line/toolbar, as I could before. I have installed Navigraph simlink and I have an approved profile. Is it not possible to install Simbrief as a program? Thanks in advance.

Hi Per,

As SimBrief is a website, you can create a desktop icon manually as follows:

  1. Right click on your desktop and choose “New → Shortcut”.
  2. Where it asks you to enter the location of the item, type https://dispatch.simbrief.com.
  3. When it asks you for a name, type “SimBrief” for example.

Thanks for your reply.
I have already done that - for a start. But before, i had an icon i could pin to my taskbar which also had the Simbrief logo.
I just wonder why I can’t find it again! But thanks anyway.

It might be possible to click and drag the desktop icon to your taskbar.

Or perhaps you are thinking of the SimBrief Downloader program, which can be downloaded and installed from here: https://dispatch.simbrief.com/home/downloads

Im having exactly the same issue on a Windows 10 PC. The Simbrief Icon has gone from the shortcut.
