Sign in MSFS2024

Hello,

on every start of the new MSFS2024; i’ve to sign in at the EFB and Garmin 1000.
How can I fix that?

Hello! Thank you for your feedback.

Do you have the same issue with our Charts in-game panel?

Kind Regards,
Malte

Yes, it happens on both items, EFB and Glas-Instruments (checked only G1000)

Sorry, I’ll clarify! We currently provide:

  • Avionics plugins for the G3X, G1000, G3000 and G5000
  • A Charts in-game panel (available in the toolbar)
  • A Charts EFB app (available in the EFB)
  • A SimBrief EFB app (available in the EFB)

My question was if you see the same issue in the Charts in-game panel, not the EFB or the avionics!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hi Malte.
Issue for me at least lys with the avionics plugins.
Toolbar, EFB addons are good.

William

Hi,
I’ve got the same problem with the avionics packages and the Simbrief EFB app.
The Charts EFB app is saving my login.

Same issue here. G1000 in MSFS 2024 won’t remember my login.

Same issue here, but my G1000 charts also are messed up. I opened a topic about it. Keeps flickering. Same with all other avionic plugins.

  • Avionics plugins for the G1000 = not rembering the login
  • A Charts in-game panel (available in the toolbar) = not testet
  • A Charts EFB app (available in the EFB) = not rembering the login
  • A SimBrief EFB app (available in the EFB) = not rembering the login

I am wondering when it will no longer be required to type a code in everything I use navigraph in MSFS2024.

I have moved your “wishlist” post here and deleted your “wishlist” item.

It would help if you can detail as the post above the Navigraph apps that are not remembering your login.

Cheers
Ian

same issue

Hello!

We seem to see a pattern where some users do not have their storage persisted. We have been able to reproduce this on one computer, but it has been working fine on all the others we have tested, so it is likely unintended behavior!

This behavior seems to align with this bug report in the MSFS forums:

We hope that MS/Asobo fixes this! In the meantime, we are investigating whether there is anything we can do to avoid having to rely on the simulator for persistence.

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hello everyone! I have news!

We have tracked down an issue in the simulator where user data (such as your Navigraph session) is seemingly wiped on exit - if you exit the simulator “correctly”.

Could all of you try the following:

  1. Start the simulator
  2. Sign into our addons
  3. Quit the simulator by either pressing Alt + F4 or the X button in the top right
  4. Start the simulator again and verify if you are still signed in

We’re eagerly looking forward to hearing about your results!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Tried twice, no luck.

Try one, I hit the X upper right corner. Waited about 3 minutes and the game wouldn’t shut down in steam. Had to use task manager to shut down steam/MSFS 2024. Then started the game and had to sign in with code needed for simbrief on the EFB.

Try two, shut down via Alt-F4, this time the game did not hang and still, I had to sign into the EFB for sim dispatch.

EDIT: One second…didn’t realize there was a new hub version…trying again.

Second EDIT: It worked! Installed new beta and after Alt-F4, I was still signed into simbrief dispatch in the EFB.

This is fully expected - the latest update for the SimBrief EFB App includes our own homemade persistence layer! It no longer relies on the simulator persisting things, so that should work fine.

Your initial findings are very interesting though, thanks for the report. Things are seldom as easy as they seem… But it’s great that our own solution worked better than the one in the simulator! That sort of proves our point - the simulator is the culprit

For everyone else: We are still interested in your reports - especially with the avionics plugins since we can’t as easily run our own solution for those unfortunately!

Kind Regards,
Malte

Seems to be working for me as I’m still logged in when when I quit and reload the sim.

seems to work now. Even after restarting the PC

@cetieel @DEAQUA Could you confirm what Navigraph products your comments are concerning?

Did you try the suggested approach to forcefully close the simulator, and did that work for the avionics? Or do you mean that the SimBrief EFB app is now working?

Kind Regards,
Malte

Mine are now working as intended…all Navigraph in game products no longer require a log in code. I don’t have to crash the game, then log back in…it just works right out of the box now.
