Request for X-Plane Native Plugin Support for Navigraph Academy VPPL Course

I too converted frm MSFS to X-Plane (npw X-Plane 12) because of the greater accuracy and realism of flight. I too did not realise from the Academy advertising stuuf that it was for MSFS only; what a disappointment. I note that you’ve said you’d love to bring X-Plane support ot Academy - what’s stopping you?

I am the same as all of the above. I actually use a Mac for flight swimming and so there is no native support for MSFS only X-plane. Seems as those it is an almost daily request but still no progress.

Yes, please add xplane 12 support.

Hi,

Thank you for offering the academy program. I am as well a MAC user and thus running X-Plane. It would be great if you offer also an Integration to X-Plane!

Carsten

We shall use your suggestion for potential enhancements and new functionality. So, please be as detailed as you can.

Yes Please! Would absolutely love X plane integration for the Navigraph Academy, please!

Yes, X-Plane 12 Please…. :folded_hands:

I love Navigraph and I’m a long term subscriber, but this is simply disappointing. I am exclusively using X-Plane and I would like to be able to complete the academy without being forced to use a product I don’t enjoy. Also, I would like not to be expected to beg for that in this forum. Please support X-Plane, you exclude many people by not doing that.

Hello!

I’m also interested in XP12 Support.
Thank you for your efforts!

Just a quick “me too” for Navigraph Academy in X-Plane (MacOS).

And, my compliments and appreciation for all that you do to keep expanding Navigraph functionality!

i see problem with navigraph free account while having a paid account, to sign out of

one account to be able to use the other is that what it means, do not tell me that you have to use diffrent browser also, too much. or let me know that i am wrong ? then tell me how to get it.

thanks

I totally agree with all, X-Plane should be in the Academy, especially because it is not possible to take the VPPL exam even though I practice and follow all the lessons.

Again, thanks Navigraph for the amazing academy!

When I got the invite and didn’t see anything about MSFS being the only supported simulator, I thought the academy was sim agnostic but quickly realized it wasn’t. I don’t understand why that was not made clear. Rather disappointing and a bit of a diss to X-Plane which has been around during those years when MSFS was not. I’ve been a Navigraph subscriber for many years and I can’t help but feel a bit insulted by this.

Hey! Would be really cool if, even in small ways it was supported on a mobile flight sim like X-plane or infinite flight, thx for reading!

Please add my vote for X-Plane 12 native support on Linux !. I bought MSFS 2020 only because it’s required for Navigraph Academy. Full Academy support for XP12 on Linux would allow me to convert one of my last remaining Win11 machines to Linux. I understand I’m in the minority here, but wanted to add my voice to this thread. Thanks for reading !

Just got the great course for ifr

Does it only work in msfs

Hi…,

Welcome.

Yes, at this time, Academy is only available for MSFS 2020/2024.

We are considering making it work with X-Plane.

I have moved your post to this existing related thread.

Cheers

Ian

I just want to add my support to making Navigraph Academy available for X Plane 12.

Don’t know if I need to add my thoughts here since this is obviously a hot topic requested by many. You all have done an outstanding job so far putting together the instrument training program, and I’m getting a lot out of it just doing the “ground school” (and all for free, to boot!). It’s just a shame everyone seems to have their own platform requirements to participate in the actual lessons: Redbird requires their own hardware/software, Navigraph requires MSFS, etc.

Perhaps someday we X-Plane users will be able to enjoy the fun and practice of integrated lessons as well…but not, I think, today.
