I am using XP12 v12.2 and Simlink v 1.1.39.1902. I am using Navigraph charts on an iPad.
I get a regular stutter every two seconds or so, meaning I cannot currently use Navigraph Charts with XP12. When I disable Simlink from the plugins menu, everything is smooth again. X-Plane 12_20250729092728_log.txt (94 Bytes)
Thank you for providing the log files. From our analysis, it is clear that you have installed the Simlink plugins correctly. However, please check the following points to address the issue:
Verify the XP12 configuration, as this may be causing the problem.
If you have any other plugins installed, please disable them and run only with the Simlink plugins to see if the issue persists.
In the XP12 plugins folder, there should only be one file named NavigraphSimlink_64.xpl. If you find another file named NavigraphSimlink, please remove it.
If you still encounter the issue, please try reinstalling the Simlink plugins using the Simlink application.
Feel free to let us know whether the issue has been resolved or if you need further assistance.
Just to add, the stutter is every second and matches the aircraft position update in Charts on my iPad. Also, I lose exactly 10 fps with each one second update which is causing the stutter.
I have excluded the X-Plane folder in Windows Defender.
My PC is AMD x78003d, 32gb Ram, RTX 4090 with Windows 11.
Here is a second video showing the XP12 MicroProfiler showing the very long frame time when the stutter occurs. Something called XPPEventHook is causing the stutter
After our analysis, we found that X-Plane 12 is currently installed on an external drive connected via a standard low-speed USB port. To improve performance and reduce stuttering, we recommend installing X-Plane 12 directly onto your system drive (C: drive).
Please feel free to reach out if you encounter any issues.
