Hello why is real ATIS apparently available only in the US, not in Europe ?
Thanks
Hi,
There is no source for digital ATIS (D-ATIS) outside the US, so therefore we can only show real ATIS in the US. If this changes in the future we’d be happy to expand the real ATIS coverage in the app.
Kind regards,
Stephen
Ah ok understand.
thanks for your answer
@stephen , I’m not sure how the API or data gets pulled on the Navigraph side but NAVCANADA (Canada equivalent of FAA) has a website with unique URL’s for each airport. The ATIS data can be pulled from there. https://spaces.navcanada.ca/workspace/aeroview/ is the website which takes you to an option of over 40 different airports. The data is all plain text as well, see below example of CYTZ
here is also a source
RJAA (NRT) - Live digital ATIS
im not 100% sure how accurate it is or where they get their data
i switched it to VHHH and, it actually looks like it pulls from ACARS according to the dev console probably from this site

They’re (supposedly) real D-ATIS obtained by watching public ACARS transmissions. The problem with ATIS Guru is that they only ever get a D-ATIS if and when someone requests it via ACARS so they can be hours and possibly days out of date, and the airports covered vary over time.

Tim

correct, that why i put a disclaimer
you would have to double check within the dev console when the data was last updated or the last call for D-ATIS was
