Problem mit X-Plane nach Änderung von 2205 auf 2206

I changed the Airac 2205 to 2206.
Since then, when I start X-Plane 11.55, I get the error message:
Loading navigational data failed: SY
PLEASE NOTE THAT x-pLANE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH NAVDATA FILES MADE FOR X-Plane 10
This message comes right at the beginning of the process: Reading airports.
Loading is aborted.
What can I do?
Sorry for my bad English.
Greetings Wolfgang Janisch.

Hi Wolfgang ,

Are you using the FMS Data Manager?

I suggest you delete files from folder X-Plane 11\Custom Data.
Then use FMS Data Manager to update entry X-Plane 11 (11.50+)

Otherwise:
Make sure X-Plane is not running, then

Run … your X-Plane 11\X-Plane 11 Installer.exe with Update X-Plane option to check installed files and restore file structure.

In FMS Data Manager, check you are running latest Version 1.8.9.0421 . If not please download and install FMS Data Manager.

In FMS Data Manager Settings, check your X-Plane 11 path is correct, by navigating to X-Plane.exe.

In Addon Mappings, delete entry X-Plane 11 (11.50+).

Press Scan. Are you now seeing entry X-Plane 11 (11.50+) ?

If yes, in Addon List please select X-Plane 11 (11.50+) and Update.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Ian
Thank you for your prompt reply.
Answers to the points raised:

  • I use FMS Data Manager
  • I didn’t delete any data in Custom Data before trying 2206
  • I have been using FMS DataManager to update X-Plane for several years
  • I used the Installer.exe with the UpdateX-Plane option First some messages, the second time everything is ok.
  • My FMS Data Manager has an older version number. I downloaded and installed the latest version. 1.8.90421 is ok.
    The X-Plane path is correct.
  • Deleted in Addon Mappings X-Plane and reloaded via SCAN.
-In addon list entry of X-Plane and 2206 ok

Start of X-Plane but unfortunately still the same error message.

Cheers
Wolfgang

I’m currently seeing in FMS Data Manager Addon Mappings:
The entry for X-Plane: XP11\Custom Data
Is that right ?

Hooray
It works.
After replacing the Data Manager with the current serial number, I did not update the individual components because everything was already marked with 2206.
I’ve made up for that now.
And X-Plane is working again.
Many Thanks.
