No sid star or approach data

After the last nav data update, my last 3 flights, when I import simbrief FP into MS FMC, and go to select sid for rwy. there is no departure info just rwy selection. Same when I want to select SID or approach there’s no info. This has never been a issue for me before update. Am I missing something here?

Hi..

So we can assist, please provide the Information requested when posting an issue - #5

Cheers

Ian

Sorry for missing info. I’m using WIN11, FS2024 SU5, It occurred with Aerosoft A340-600, and the TDFI MD11. flights from LFPG to CYUL. Both aircraft FMC’s showed correct sid star for rwys. But when I imported into the MS FMC, the full flight plan shows up, but with no departure or arrival info. Just completed a flight with PMDG 737-800 from MMUN to KSEA and the same thing occurred. I went through the nav hub and uninstalled everything and reinstalled. Additional apps I’m using when flying are FSTramp and Volanta, AIG AI. Like I said, I never had this issue before. Nav data 2605 rev1.

Hi,
I can´t speak for the Aerosoft A340, but for TFDi and PMDG, this is a normal behavior. Both addons only import the core route, but no terminal procedures, even when SimBrief offers them. That’s a decision of the 3rd party addon developer and has nothing to do with us.

By the way, this is more realistic because such information depends on the weather/wind conditions, runway in use conditions, … So, in reality, you also don´t get such a complete flightplan from the dispatcher. Approaches are never added to the SimBrief flight plans, independent of which addon you are using.

So, not a bug (at least for TFDi and PMDG) - it´s per the design of these two addons.

Hope that helps
Richard

Thanks for the reply back. I understand that those addons only import the core flight plan and not the sids and stars. But still using the default MS FMS after I import the simbrief FP, It use to show me all the terminal procedures for the runways and I choose what I want. After the last 2805 rev1 update, I no longer see any terminal procedures in the default Asobo FMS.

Ok, but that’s another issue, what you have reported, and this is not navdata related. It looks like you have any incompatible 3rd-party scenery installed on your system.

For more details and how you can fix this, see here.

Thank you,
Richard

Thank you again sir for your help. I’ve got the terminal procedures back in the Default FMS. The problem was after the last Asobo SU5 update, it enabled all the default duplicated airport addons that I disabled in the past for some reason. After spending over an hour disabling them again, I got the terminal procedures back again.

Thanks for your time
