Navigraph moving maps

I sim on Xbox series X I have Navigraph on my laptop and can utilize the moving maps on 2020 as I was able to download 2020 on my laptop but unplayable due to specs. 2024 will not even download on my laptop so was wondering if there is any work around so I can utilize Navigraph moving maps on 24?

Hi…,

Welcome.

I think you are asking if you run MSFS 2024 on your Xbox, can you have Moving Map display from that aircraft on your Windows laptop?

Please see FAQ - Navigraph support of Xbox

Yes, so in 2020 I can have the moving maps on my phone tablet, laptop, etc. but that’s because I have Navigraph hub installed on my laptop and also MSFS 20.
MFS 24 will not open on my laptop so the Navigraph hub does not pick it up whatsoever. So basically what I’m asking is will there ever be an option that us Xbox simmers that want to use the moving maps Sim connect to follow along on our phones or tablets Will be able to do so without also having to have a laptop or PC to run the SIM so that Navigraph hub picks it up.

As shown in the FAQ, you can have Moving Map functionality for certain aircraft on your Xbox. Please see table at Xbox Moving Map aircraft

At this time we can’t provide Moving Map for default aircraft on Xbox until we can have Simlink available via Xbox marketplace.

Unfortunately I don’t think you are understanding what I am asking.

Where is your flight simulator (MSFS 2020 or MSFS 2024) running?

If on Xbox, you can have Moving Map functionality for certain aircraft as indicated but not standard aircraft as the required Simlink doesn’t run on Xbox.

So I use the SIM on my Xbox series X, let’s say I’m using the Honda jet on MSFS 20 knowing that it is integrated with moving maps so I can follow along on the Navigraph app on my phone tablet or laptop because the hub has been able to pick up 2020 as it is installed on my laptop. But it does not pick up 24 as it cannot be installed on my laptop. So when flying the Honda jet in 24 I can’t use moving Maps. Hopefully that explanation helps.
