Navigraph hub and Windows anti malware service executable

Every time I try to update my nav data for my addons and base sim via navigraph’s hub, Antimalware service executable in task manager seem then take up my system resources as so much so as 95% which causes everything else to freeze/hang up. This is particularly true if I am trying to update nav data for addon packages like TFDI MD-11 and ifly 737 max. It gets the job done but during installation causes my system to freeze because antimalware service executable is running at 98%.

My question is why does the system think hub is installing some random files that it needs to scan one by one causing my system to slow down. This issue started since Tfdi appeared in hub. Something is definitely not right within the hub.

Hi,

Yours is the only report of this. It looks like a Windows issue.

I suggest you search the internet for Windows Anti Malware.

I found https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/high-cpu-usage-because-of-antimalware-service/b20c6fef-0ce1-4ad1-8874-f76c8a89523a
