Same. Not doing anything. Did a 1 hour flight in MSFS. Had charts open on my second screen, and it just logged me out without doing anything in charts. Had to login twice during the flight.
Can confirm, I was hard logged out of the desktop app mid cruise while I was AFK. I hope there is a fix soon, this is a major dealbreaker.
My apologies “Casualclick”. I didn’t notice you had recorded the same issue until after I made the same comment.
I have the same issue. I registered here to ask for help with this.
Happend when i right click on the map to get the location windows
Ok nice, but what are your next steps?
Automatic update?
New version ?
We’ll issue an automatic update ASAP, standby!
Same issue. Also, the display is blurred — when I hover over the various “pages” it becomes sharp the rest turns blurred again. Just the upper and lower part (Route and pinned tabs), the map is clear focus.
I have it set on 100% scale and full HDR screen.
Same issue and it won’t export flight plan in msfs2020.pln format
Hello again everyone!
An update has been rolled out that should fix this issue. In theory, all you need to do is restart the application, preferably giving it half a minute or so before starting it again!
Please confirm as we’d like to verify the delivery of the new update.
Kind Regards,
Malte
I let it run for a while and it seams to be fixed…
Thanks for the Update !
So far so good, thanks a lot for being so quick with the fix!
The update seems to have fixed it for me. I did a 2h30m flight and stayed logged in the whole time. Thanks!
Yup. Seems to be fixed. Thank you so much for your quick response.
Why can’t other companies do that…?
Thank you for the confirmation! It is much appreciated. Once again - sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience!
Kind Regards,
Malte
Looks like it worked. Thank you for the amazing turnaround on the patch!
I am seeing this issue this morning after having been automatically upgraded to version 8. So far Charts has logged me out 3 times in an hour.
What version of Desktop has the fix. I am currently running 8.13.0 build 3421238561
Also, what is the latest version of Simlink I should be using with Charts 8 (on MacOS)
Thx…Ian
Ian,
Desktop version 8.13.1 has the fix. Just quit the app and wait 30-60 seconds. Then start the app again. You should now have the new version.
Regards,
Stephen
Thanks Stephen, will do after my current flight.
And what is the version of Simlink I should be running, don’t think it was updated when Charts 8 was auto-installed. I am currently running Simlink 1.1.19.0104 on MacOS.
Ian
Hi Ian,
The Simlink version 1.1.19 as you mention is a very old version of Simlink.
Please download the new Simlink version from here.
