Native Arm64 Windows Support

With Arm64 due to become more prevalent in PC systems are there any plans for Arm64 native support for Windows?

The program currently runs on Arm64 on Windows devices but seemingly only through emulation, as performance is quite slow while moving the map & general responsiveness of the app is not fantastic.

So far the best way I’ve found to get around this is to use the web interface for Navigraph Charts as it performs much better than the desktop program at this current stage, however this is not ideal.

We shall consider it.

I’d like to follow up on the earlier discussion regarding native ARM64 Windows support. I’m currently running Navigraph Charts on a Surface Pro 11 X Plus (ARM64), and while the app works through emulation, performance is noticeably choppy as indicated in the previous post.

The web version in Edge runs does more smoothly, but a native ARM64 desktop build would make a big difference in responsiveness and usability. With more ARM-based Windows devices entering the market, this feels increasingly important.

Could you share if there are any updates or plans for ARM64 native support on Windows? Thanks for considering this request, and for all the work you do to keep Charts improving.

Hi…,

Welcome.

When we first examined this, it was non-trivial to support, but we shall revisit.

Cheers
