So, i was dispatching a flight that going through Chinese airspace and SimBrief gave me this:
IKELA/K0832S1095
As far as i know, level 1095 is not a recognized RVSM level within Chinese FIR. Cruise level is FL360, so i was expecting to get S1100 over the Chinese airspace, not S1095. Is this a bug or is this a new change to the metric RVSM level assignment that i don’t know yet?
While this FIR is marked as using metric altitudes in the AIRAC data, it seems some crossing airways should still use feet. I’ve checked some real-world flight plans and they all use feet on the IKELA A1 BUNTA segment, even though this segment crosses Chinese airspace.
I’ve now updated SimBrief to properly handle such cases.
