Just went to plan a flight from KJFK to KSFO on the Fenix A321 and was surprised to see that Simbrief believes it is beyond the range of the plane. Is this a problem with the profile or am I missing something? Range for the plane should be well beyond that – I know I’ve made the trip on a A321s myself.
A321s can be equipped with up to 2 Additional Center Tanks. This route likely requires an aircraft with at least 1 ACT installed:
You will need to create a custom airframe in SimBrief and adjust the fuel capacity accordingly. But you will run into problems anyways, because as far as I know, it isn’t yet possible to add ACTs in the Fenix A321.
The other option is to reduce your payload significantly. Around 100 passengers (instead of the 210 you have planned) should make the flight possible.

Thanks for the super clear explanation. Hopefully, Fenix adds the extra tanks. Without them you can’t really fly NY-CA.
