Looks like the problem has been fixed also on Android. Doing my second flight right now and haven’t seen the issue 
One other thing I noticed though is how the symbol indicating my aircraft on the map isn’t positioned accurately on the route. I saw the same thing when the aircraft was parked in Dublin. Using the web version of Charts, the symbol is correctly positioned. Below are two screenshots showing this, first one from the Android app and the second one using the web version of Charts.
