Charts with Simlink are quite separate from FMS Data. Just dont touch FMS Data.
Read very carefully the links I have given. You will see the two items and how to install in first link.
Maybe you need someone at your end to help with Mac software install.

I have everything work well now. I noticed that I don’t have Simlink on my system. Should I download everything again and see if the Simlink package come through?
From the first link:
The Charts for macOS download includes Charts for macOS and Simlink.
You should see the two actions required (drag and Install) when you run the installer.
