I’ve primarily seen the issue in VR when using the in-game panel.

Could you provide the exact route and steps you take in order to make it show the INOP screen?

I am unable to reproduce it, unfortunately.

Hi

This happens when I am in VR, in FS there are menus across the screen, I click on Navigraph, the screen takes a while to load then the in op message shows up.

It was working perfectly for many many flights over many many months, then all of a sudden this starts happening.

I notice if I do a complete reboot and fresh start of MS2020 the map will load the first time, if I click x to close the navigraph map and then try and reopen it in VR I get the inop message.

Unfortunately, it is really hard to get any logs from the panel. Please follow these steps, perhaps there is something to be found regardless!

I dont see any navigraph panel on the list,

Also what i did as an experiment I unloaded the last flight plan and then loaded navigraph and it loaded ok for a few times, when I loaded a flight plan then the error message came up again

In op.

Could be something to do with flight plans.

You need to first open the panel. Once it is open, you should be able to see it in the list!

What flight was that? Which origin/destination, and route if you’re able?

ok so it looks like definitely something to do with flight plans, now I tried in VR mode where no flight plan was loaded and the map came up every single time and I did this around 8 times, then I loaded a flight plan, the plan loaded, i closed to navigraph window “x” then loaded again in VR through the menus across the screen in VR mode (probably would get the same error in 2 d mode), clicking navigraph and and inop error message.

I see, but I have a flight loaded as well so that is not the whole story, unfortunately. Will try with your flight as well if I may!

I used my previous flights and I even used a very old one that I had on the left hand menu flew a few months ago, so it is not a new flight plan that is corrupted.

Random flights I used from the left hand menu in VR when it says to load a flight.

I managed to reproduce it with the first flight I tried! Thanks a lot.

This seems to be caused by a very similar issue to one that we have had before. We’ll look into it!

Great news you’ve been able to repro the issue!

This should now be fixed! Do whatever you did to make it work previously (clearing the cache) so that the latest version can load:

Ok working great thanks! I have not had a chance to do a flight in it, just opened and closed some flight plans on the ground and opened some diagrams but no problems in VR mode.

Glad to hear it! It has been working flawlessly for me as well after the update, but I am using the “Fake VR” option in the developer tools so you never know…

What did you do to make it work ?

I made sure that a specific part of the app does not try to update another part of the app until that other part has fully loaded and is reported as ready.

This was actually fixed before, but it was missing from the latest release so the changes were lost :sweat_smile:

Should be good for the next release!
