Inibuilds A350 ARPT not in database ANS

Hei
I’m missing the charts on the airport navigation system on several airports, both ASOBO airports and 3rd party.
The charts and flightplan imports, SIDs and STARs work flawlessly. Wondering if this is a bug on iniBuilds side or navigraphs.
Kind regards.

Hello! Welcome to our forum!

What simulator are you using? If you are on MSFS 2020, feel free to give this a try:

If you are on 2024 and this is indeed a Navigraph issue (to be determined) - please wait for iniBuilds to update their aircraft with the latest version of our integration that we have already provided to them.

Kind Regards,
Malte

Hallo.
Sorry i should have statet i’m on 2020.
I have found the thread you linked to earlier this week and tried the suggested fix.

It didn’t help with my problem thou.
My problem is purely a problem with the airport navigation system, and merely on some few airport. The list grows, as i try diffent routes around the world.

I never had an issue with missing SIDs or STARs or waypoints missing with any of the versions of the plane, yet at every version om the plane i had the issue at the same airports. Airport with are both from 3rd party developers and ASOBO ones. Both rescent releases and airport never updated since the release of FS2020.

Just to be sure, i just tried it again, but it doesnt help me with the issue.
I never had any issues with navigraph before.
The error might very well be on iniBuilds side, they had some issues before.
Thank you for your Help thou

Thank you for the additional detail!

I just realized - none of those airports are big enough to be included in the airport mapping database that is used for that display. Unfortunately, this means that what you are seeing is entirely expected!

The database does cover over a thousand airports with detailed mapping data, but it does not cover any and all airports. We do still have navigation data (procedures, runways etc.) for this airport though, which is why those things work correctly!

Kind Regards,
Malte

OK,
That would also explain why the issue persists on both 2020 and 2024.
So this issue will persist and my only option will be to use 2024 and Asobos database in this regard?

Does the 2024 version have an alternative data source for this instrument? If so, then that would be the option for these small airports yes. I was of the impression that this instrument and the airport map was based purely on our AMDB data, but I can’t say for sure.

To be perfectly clear - we do have these airports in our navigation data. We just don’t have detailed airport maps for them, which this instrument needs.

I just tried switching over to asobos database and try and see if i get airport maps, but no, nothing there eighter.
I would not know if and where iniBulids would get their aiports charts from, if not from your database.
So i guess that is the end of it, no data for the airport map.
Too bad, as both Teneriffa and Trondheim are not insignificant airports in Europe.
I can only hope for the database to be expanded
I will mark the thread as resolved.
Thank you for your fast replies on a saturday Malte

Kind regards, Matthias

An expansion would be great! This database’s coverage is based on the needs of real-world pilots who use Jeppesen data for their navigation tools. This means that we can’t influence the coverage, but real-world airlines could! We can always hope

You’re welcome! Always happy to help!
