ILS EDDH missing

Hi,

I am running the SU1 Beta of MSFS24. When installing the latest AIRAC (2502 rev. 1 Beta) through Navigraph Hub the ILS on runway 23 at EDDH is missing.

Here with installed Navigraph AIRAC and no ILS

Here with uninstalled Navigraph AIRAC, ILS is present. Everything else is the same.

Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi Bastian,
It looks like a beta issue because when I try the same in the official (none beta) version, with the same data, I receive the signal normally.

Which aircraft do you use here? Possible it´s aircraft specific?

Hey Richard,

I am using the default C182 here for demonstration purposes but I stumbled upon the problem when I tried to fly an ILS approach with the Inibuilds A350 (the A350 is the only reason I am running the beta…). I don’t have the same problems in EDDM.

Any idea or advice on how to debug this further?

EDIT: I need to correct myself…I now have the problem also in EDDM, EDDB…that is really strange.

Hi Bastian,
We have also seen a lot of issues with the current beta (comparing the previous one and the official version), but we haven’t found any “rule” as to why this happened at the moment.

It is also frustrating for us to start at zero after every patch.

Still looking for the root cause …

I have now tried to reproduce it in the last SU1 beta (1.3.24.0), but I can´t - I get the same results as with the official version of MSFS2024:

So, it seems to be working with our data, too …

Hey Richard,

thank you so much for testing! After your feedback I removed everything from my community folder (thank god for AddOn Linker…) and also removed Navigraph navdata. Then I reactivated everything and now it works again. This is so strange…sorry for the confusion.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m pretty sure the loading order of the different packages is the culprit. We have seen the same during our tests but have found no real solution, even without the recommendation from ASOBO/MS.

I think this loading system is still buggy, even in the SU1 beta. The old system via the content.xml file was much more transparent and easier to understand.

We will see if ASOBO/MS offers us any deeper information on this in the future.
