ILS 31 offset in Kai tak VHHXILS 31 offset in Kai tak VHHX

Seems to me there’s now a 1 degree offset coded with the station itself in MSFS.
Actual runway magnetic heading is now 317 and FMC calculations shows inbound course 317 in LNAV (LEGS page).
However, the ILS itself is still 316 (Change in magnetic variation not updated?) leading to offset approaches to the right.

ICAO is updated and still exactly the same problem.

When will be updated to land centered in VHHX rwy ILS 31? From the last AIRAC I am still landing offset.

In one of the next cycles, no specific timeline …

Dear Richard, I appreciate that and thanks for your efforts. Hopefully next cycle.

Several AIRAC since Cycle 2313 I never got centered ILS runway 31 landings in VHHX. Learned it is going to be fixed but never yet. Does it look as never will be ready the VHHX for Navigraph? I guess so …

Did someone test the MSFS2020, VHHX Default with Navigraph latest cycle landing with PMDG any model on runway ILS 31?

I did another test with VHHX airport with the new AIRAC 2502 and still the same offset landing. Why it is not fixed?

Hi,

Because its not been possible without side effects with the default VHHX.
I’m sorry.

I have exactly the same VHHX offset issue with Model Instruments and Redwing. Also, the freeware from Flightsim.to site.
Navigraph needs to change the heading 316 to 317 for the runway ILS 31.
Without Navigraph I land centered heading 317. Please, help!

Again, I can’t fix it without any other side effects. So please fly this approach manually. We will see if there is a possibility to fix this, but not now, not in this state, sorry.

The side effect is already present due to the heading 316 from Navigraph with MSFS2020 sim. From P3Dv4 and also P3Dv5 the heading is 317. So, clearly Navigraph has heading discrepancy between MSFS2020 and the other sims. Otherwise, why Navigraph has heading 317 for P3D sims and MSFS2020 has 316? Please, fix it. A year ago, I had been told from Navigraph Support somewhere here the fix will be done on the next AIRAC cycle. It has has been several AIRAC cycle and still the same, heading 316 instead of 317. Please, HELP!!!

Yes, we had tried it but have seen that the fix is not working as expected. Therefore, we have set this task “on hold”.

As I wrote, we can’t offer any fix at the moment! I’m sorry.

You can edit Navigraph Database for VHHX from P3D to MSFS. I can’t do it. Or can you tell me how and what to edit?

Hi,
Here is the SDK for MSFS 2020. With that, you can build your own BGL file with your changes:
https://docs.flightsimulator.com/html/Samples_And_Tutorials/Samples/Sceneries/SimpleNavData.htm

Cheers,
Richard

I am intended to edit Navigraph VHHX database not the BGL airport or AFCAD. I want to change heading 316 to 317. That’s all so far.

… when you want to change something, you can do this only in the BGL. We won´t change it sorry (have written it several times now). I´m sorry.

Cheers,
Richard

Do you mean BGL file from VHHX airport or from Navigraph Database?
