I have installed and uninstalled navigraph components and I still can't get it to update airac files

I have tried installing and uninstalling navigraph components including FMS manager and the only way I can update airac files is to manually download them and copy them to the folder in X-Plane 12. Is there a long tutorial that has all the steps to try? I like the product. I just would like it to work as advertised. When I update the files in in FMS manager it shows the correct Airac file is being used but when I go to X-Plane 12 it still says the data is out of date. I tried, thinking that maybe the directory was not the right one but it wouldn’t allow me to direct it to go to the custom data folder. I use X-Plane 12, not a steam edition. Please help.

Xplane 12 not getting the latest airc info

Hi, just relaunched my Navigraph subscription. No trouble in the past getting the download to update the MCDUs in my commercial aircraft. However, this time even though I have downloaded the latest AIRC data the MCDU in my Xplane 12 are showing data out of date. Which folder do these go into in Xplane 12? I think its custom data. That folder is showing an old download of Jepperson data from 2 years ago when I last had a subscription. Help

Thanks. I uninstalled the data files and followed your instructions and it scanned and found my installation location of x-plane 12 then it installed the lasted version of the airac files. I checked the files in that directory then I started X-Plane and loaded a flight plan and it worked fine. Thank you
