How to get simbrief flight plan into the new PMDG777 in MSFS2024

as the title says. i installed the dispatch plugin and can see my route there but i cannot get my flight plan into the FMC no matter what I do. do i need to manually download the .rte? if so, to what folder? i thought it would all happen automagically. Thanks in advance! I’m pulling my hair out lol.

Welcome.

Check you have Created and Generated a SimBrief flight plan using the PMDG 777-200ER profiles rather than default.

Make sure you have the release PMDG 777-200ER v 2.00.099, installed and running.

In the EFB General Preferences make sure you have your SimBrief Alias entered.

At EFB home (Flight Details), press Request New Data from SimBrief which will load the flight plan you generated.

In the FMC RTE page, choose Route Request. On ROUTE FILES page, you should see your green SIMBRIEF RTE . Select it and on next page SET PAYLOAD, SET FUEL, and SELECT RTE.
After about 15 secs, in RTE1 page press LOAD ROUTE. After UPLINK LOADING , press ACTIVATE and EXEC.

Hi Ian, I am having a similar problem but my FMS Simbrief route is Red not Green if red is wrong what are the criteria that need to be changed to get it to go green ? :slight_smile:

Check you have Detailed Navlog set when you Generate your SImBrief flight plan.

Strangely the alternate loads but the departure and arrival airports do not, the payload and fuel load up as well, but no route
I can add them by hand but the Simbrief load shows as red still …

I am in sim now, it was on the Stable release before I took off will check when I land tks :slight_smile:

I have just fired up 2020 with the 777 F and the route and winds and they both loaded successfully :slight_smile:
After reinstalling the 777 in fs 2024 i can get the flight plans to load but not upload the weather data, the FMS reports an invalid data link, could it be that the .WX files from Simbrief are being saved in the wrong place ? I am using the X Box store install on my F Drive …

Hi Ian, i cannot get wind data to down load to the fs2024 PMDG 777 I am on the current version the FMS says that it is ready to download, but it returns an invalid link, could you check if there is an issue with my account ? PMDG wonder is the WX files i am getting are corrupt?
