I have just installed the FSiPanel and it all seems to work fine. I can’t seem to update the airac cycle though. The panel doesn’t appear in my FMS Data Manager list and I have also run the manual update zip file without success.
Can somebody tell me what I’ve missed please?
Hi Steve,
Welcome.
Make sure you using the latest FMS Data Manager.
Did you install FSiPanel to the default locations?
On the Setup page do you show the latest Navigraph AIRAC cycle?
Have you updated the Database?
Cheers
Ian
Hi Ian,
Thanks for replying.
I have installed the latest FMS Data Manager today.
I updated my airport list 2 days ago.
I didn’t change the default path on installation.
I also tried the manual installer for the AIRAC cycle and run that.
The FSiPanel still doesn’t appear in my Addon list in the manager (just Littlenavmap)
Having followed the recommended default path, I have gone into the FSiPanel NavDB/NavData folder
and the cycle_info text document describes the correct AIRAC cycle from Navigraph.
After all this, the Setup page still shows the generic (red) AIRAC cycle.
Regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
Thank you for the clear posts. Please try deleting directory C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\FSiPanelNavDB. Then download and install fsipanel_2207.zip.
Please post screenshots above again. I am trying to see if/why you get a different fsipanel.rom to me.

Hi Ian,
I have done as you suggested, but it’s putting up a fight!

Hi Ian,
Can’t thank you enough for you help with this. Navigraph provide an excellent service.
Could it be a bug in my FsiPanel installation?
I shall await your findings.
Cheers
Steve
No probs. It looks like a data issue in the actual update at our end, which we shall look into.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Ian,
I have had some feedback from J-P via FSiPanel support that I thought may be of interest to you.
In the FMS manager you need to go into Addon Mappings and then scan. This will find FSiPanel. I then went back and updated the FSiPanel listing, then relaunched FSiPanel and it worked.
J-P seems to be aware of the data problem from your end and intends issuing a newsletter regarding it, so I guess I’m not alone.
This may not be the long term solution, but it worked for me this time.
Thanks again for all your help.
Cheers

Hi Steve,
Thank you for posting that work around. We are in contact with Jean-Pierre and are working on automatic detection in FMS Data Manager. We shall advise when resolved.
