Flight plan will not clear

I am not able to clear the past flight plan. Any suggestions

Welcome.

To Clear past flight plan, in Flight Plan editor click on Clear Route

To Delete flight plan create new flight plan, use pencil to select and delete previous plan.

I do use the clear flight but the flight will not clear

And if you delete the flight and recreate a flight, can you clear that?

Yes I can start a new plan and when it is cleared it reverts back to a previous flight Plan.

And if you Unload the Active Flight ?

I also am having trouble deleting the flight plan. I tried both method mentioned above. First attached screen show delete option. This did not delete the EDDM to LHBP.

Next I created another flight plan, KAUS to KDAL. The option to remove EDDM to LHBP did not appear.

Ron,

You can’t delete the flight while it is loaded. First press the Unload button in the Active flight box. Then you will be able to delete the flight.

Thank you, hitting the unload button worked. Other than loading EDDM to LHBP below KAUS-KDAL, does using the unload button send the flight route anywhere else?

Unload just removes it from display in the Charts app, and makes it available to delete as it appears among your other saved Flights.

Unload doesn’t send it anywhere else.
