For example, it would be incredibly helpful to have all the airspace and frequencies I’ll be entering displayed conveniently at the bottom of the map. Along with this, an indicator showing the approximate time before I enter each airspace or need to switch frequencies would be fantastic. This would make transitions smoother and help with planning ahead during the flight.
Additionally, I know you’re already addressing the clarity and color of airspace borders, which I really appreciate. I don’t mean to compare, but I have to say that vatsim-radar.com has absolutely nailed their airspace border design. It’s by far the clearest and most intuitive layout I’ve used. It would be worth taking some inspiration from their approach, as I believe their design sets a high bar. I’m confident you’ll do a great job, but don’t be afraid to borrow what works well!
