FAQ - ILS Missing, only LOC provided for Missed Approach TURN prior to RWY

Where an airport ILS Missed Approach procedure requires a TURN away from the final approach course prior to the runway threshold, our data provider Jeppesen codes the ILS as LOC in our FMS Data. This is in accordance with ARINC rules.

A typical example is OLBA, where you see the Missed Approach course leave the final approach course BEFORE the runway - so Jeppesen codes the ILS approach as LOC.
