I noticed that for the FAOR AIP, both in the title and the contents of 10-9A1, “B747-8” is written as “B747-800”.
Its minuscule mistake but thought I might as well report it.

I do not know if there are standards involved in this, but it is at least not an ICAO Type designator so I am not sure it matters too much. We do not set these titles ourselves - our data provider from the real-world aviation industry (Jeppesen) does.
That said, I will forward this to someone who can verify whether it is intentional or not!

The conclusion was not too different from my first response.
This is not an ICAO Type Designator, there is no standard. Since the typo does not have any effect on how the information is interpreted (B747-800, can’t possibly be mixed up with something else based on the addition of two zeroes), this is not deemed to be an issue by us or the real world.
