With the exception of China, where the AIP defines (at least in the L888 airway case) the AIP-specified diverts, driftdown calculations are incredibly complex, the methods used in the manuals vary by the OEM. The requirements vary between EASA or 121 (and I am familiar with the 25 / 121 requirements). You really need the actual airflow equations to do it well; not precalculated numbers and a crap-town of interpolation. The actual airflow equations (drag polars and so on) are proprietary.
Plus, as we were talking maybe a year ago about redispatch, where I think only a few users would probably grasp let’s say 121 redispatch and where it does and does not work to understand it correctly. I think even less would understand all of the nuance of Method 1 versus Method 2, driftdown decision points and net driftdown flight paths, and driftdown alternates. TriJets and Quads have very specific requirements that are different from Twins.
I think this is a bridge too far, for now.
