Custom remarks not resetting when changing airframe

For example I want to plan a flight in a ToLISS A339 but accidentally select the Headwind airframe first, then the custom flight plan remarks get set to:

VALID ONLY FOR HEADWIND A339X VERSION 0.5

…and if I then change it to the ToLiSS airframe, it doesn’t get reset.

Generally, when selecting an airframe, anything that is set to “default” or left blank in the airframe’s settings does not affect a value that was already set in the flight, which applies to the dispatch remarks as well.

But given that those remarks can sometimes be very airframe-specific (such as in the case above), I think it might be a good idea to reset them unconditionally when switching airframes.

Alternatively, probably harder to implement (but perhaps not impossible?), the page might be able to track whether the current dispatch remarks were (A) set automatically by a previously-selected airframe or (B) changed manually by the user and clear them when changing airframes only in case (A)?

Tim

Hi Tim, I’ve made a note to look into this but it’ll be a while.

Best regards,
