CL650 Incorrect APU Burn

The CL650 usually burns around 100kg/h. On SB it’s showing only 6 mins for 100kg of added fuel.

It’s not a CL650-specific issue; the label for extra fuel can be changed to “APU” but it always computes fuel the same way regardless.

Just to report this is still true in latest SimBrief version.
APU could use some standard fuel burn not to become too specific, like 200 Kg/h up to Medium bodies and 400kg/h for wide bodies

Well. In the end this should be an airframe parameter…

sure, but this kind of info could be not so easy to retrieve, so I just suggested a couple of generic values to use for the airframes lacking a specific one

Hi, this has been implemented. Not all aircraft have APU fuel burn data available right now, so some of them are estimated.

The way it works is, if you select time-based APU extra fuel, the amount of fuel added will be based on the hourly APU burn rate. However, on the final OFP, the time associated with the APU fuel line will still be based on cruise fuel flow:

So it’s normal, for example, to specify 60 minutes of APU fuel (resulting in 100 kg), but the final OFP will still show 2 minutes next to the APU fuel (since this is how long 100 kg will last you in cruise).

Best regards,
