I have updated the navigraph in the hub for msfs 2024 but it is not updated in all citation planes and pilatus planes. It is stuck in the october cycle. It works i msfs 2020. but planes bought in the microsoft store the planes cannot download and simbrief flightplans or waypoints.
Hi,
Possible that the ident pages in these aircraft will not be updated? When you remove the AIRAC via the Hub, do you see the current dates in these aircrafts?
Cheers,
Richard
no. the past dates are still there. when trying to putting in a sid or star it doesn’t work. after putting runway the FMC doesn’t suggest any sid or stars or any waypoints.
Could you please post a screenshot showing the stuck October cycle date with our data installed, as well as one showing the ident page with the current cycle dates and stock data?
I´m pretty sure that this is an issue on your system because we don´t have any reports, nor can I reproduce it.
Thank you
Richard
With our data installed?
Please post the same when you don´t have installed our data - so using only the stock data.
Cheers
Richard
yes this is what is shown with or without the navigraph data in msfs2024 on all citation planes and planes planes. but it works in 737 pmdg ifly 737 max planes. in MSFS2020 it works in citation planes and planes planes with the correct airac dates.
Ok, that’s the same result on my system.
The problem is not navdata-related; it appears that these aircraft don´t use the cycle dates for their ident pages, and therefore, these values are static. This means you see a static page here, independent of what you have installed and/or used (Jeppesen or the stock navdata). You can verify that the cycle is correctly installed through your library.
When you see AIRAC 2513, you can be sure that the AIRAC packages are loaded in the sim.
Hope that helps
Richard
thank you for your support and understanding
it still not updated. I have disabled the navigraph…still not updated. I have disabled the citation x and enabled it again. still not updated. I have enabled the navigraph back on, still not working.
I’m sorry, but I’m unable to follow you now. You see AIRAC 2513, so it is active and installed in your system.
What is not working now? How do you identify that your SIM is not updated even when you see that the cycle is installed correctly?!
Can you explain in more detail what is not working?
Thank you
Richard
as you see in the first picture which I will seen again, the navigraph date is not updated. When the date is not updated I can’t make a flightplan. I can’t enter a waypoint. it will say leg does not exist. When I put in a runway it will not list a sid or star. if the cycle date is current, it will be able to make a flightplan as usual. On msfs2020. the citation x fmc is updated and usable. in msfs2024 the fmc is not.
Ok, very confusing …
It looks like you have any other issues on your system, but there is no update issue.
I will try to summarize your report:
-
You will enter a flightplan, but after entering the airport/runway, you can’t select any terminal procedures.
-
When you try to enter a waypoint, you can’t because you get a message that the waypoint is not found
When this is correct, it indicates not a navdata update issue but a 3rd party scenery issue or an issue with your content file.
Therefore, a few questions:
- Does this happen with all airports or only on a few?
- Do you have 3rd party sceneries installed? When yes, which one was downloaded from where?
- Please can you give us an example flightplan plan that we can try to reproduce, including the info from where the flightplan is/was
- Have you tried the steps from our FAQ here? If not, please do it
Again, I’m reasonably sure you’re using a SU3+ incompatible third-party scenery and/or have the wrong loading order.
Both should be identified using the steps outlined in the FAQ link.
Cheers
Richard
I believe that the problem is with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and not with navigraph. I will send you what you requested but I think that is not navigraph fault. This happened after the last Simulator update.
I´m also sure that this has nothing to do with any nav updates. In most cases, these symptoms are caused by either the content.xml file or a third-party package that the SIM loads, but which is not 100% SU3+ compatible.
Therefore, the highly recommended step is to follow the FAQ steps exactly. I´m pretty sure that one of the steps will solve your issue (not the incorrect dates on the FMC ident pages because these values are static, but the missing waypoints, terminal procedures, etc.).
Cheers,
Richard
thank you for your support and understanding of the situation.
I tried doing those things in FAQ. User, appdata, packages, Microsoflight.sim, the problem is that there is no Microsoftflight.sim in that particular file. could that be a problem?how can I fix this problem so I can delete that content.xml?
What version do you have? The Steam or the Marketplace version?
Cheers
Richard
I have the Steam version. Msfs2024. The Steam version of msfs2020 works fine.
Not sure, why you can´t follow the steps - in the FAQ there is no word about a packages folder for the content-file.
- Press Win + R
- Type the following and press enter:
%appData%\Microsoft Flight Simulator
What do you see? Does the file-explorer open this folder?
Do you have a sub-folder with your xbox-tag in this folder?
When yes, open this folder (with your xbox-tag name) and delete the content.xml file there.
Cheers,
Richard
